#LeadershipVocation. The pursuit of leadership is a lifelong vocation. It supersedes but includes the development of knowledge, skills and experience. As vocation, leadership is devoted to the betterment of everything we touch. Certainly the workplace and professional development are critical but also the full range of moments in our life are essential. Parenting better, loving deeper, praying more, eating well, serving other, teaching by example, all evidence our vocation of leadership. It is a consistent ethic of life. It is not restricted by age, class, ethnicity, race, gender; Leadership is a responsibility of all to care for all. It is a hard path with daily victories but many disappointments. The road can be lonely and even scary when others disappoint us or themselves. It is as much a spiritual quest as a search for the truth and commitment to wellness and self improvement. It is both the journey and our destiny to make everything and everyone we touch a little better than when we found it. It is bound up with our human destiny. It endeavors to encourage one another to share all the music within oneself in the symphony of life. It starts and ends with us and the failures of history and public figures are no more than signposts to observe in our quest for truth and justice.
