We remember those souls of history who now rest in the sanctuary of our hearts.

We remember those who have traveled before us to prepare the journey; parents, grandparents, husbands, wives, friends, colleagues, in some cases children and grandchildren. They live in the recesses of our consciousness and guide our hearts if we let them.
We remember those everyday heroes who keep us safe and alive. These first responders of police and fire constantly and daily hold us together as a society.
We remember heath professionals who extend life and its quality for us as we rest and play.
Finally, we remember innocent victims; those women, children and men whose lives were given in expanding our awareness of the need for our sense of humanity and justice to mature.
We do not pass this way alone. Each step we take is a reflection of millions of others who made each moment possible and a blessing to behold.
