Time to break out the sticks again.
For some of us golf emulates life.
You just have to get up and keep moving even when we’d rather not. Setbacks in relationships, health, economic conditions, community or world event can gnaw at our ankles and cause us to ask “what’s the point?”
A former leadership guru and secretary of Heath,Education, and Welfare, John Gardner once said “Anyone who achieved anything of significance had more hope than the facts justified.”
So in life as in golf let’s keep moving and not look back, with deep gratitude for the opportunity to be better.
There are two types of people. There are those that size life’s challenges to themselves and become diminished. Then there are those who size themselves to the challenges of life.
The latter grow in wisdom, strength, and grace before God and others.
