Tom Miller is a Project Associate for Strategic Leadership Associates and holds a CPA Certificate with extensive background as a financial executive in both for-profit and non-profit firms. His skills include: cost reduction programs, improving accounting, MIS operations, and financial reporting, financial controls and operational analysis, forecasting and long range planning, and setting up financial operations internationally. His career positions have included VP of Finance for Globe Motors, Group Controller for Hobart Brothers, Controller for Oberer Development, and CFO for Micro Standard Technologies.
Tom has been an instructor at Sinclair community College, teaching accounting, corporate finance and small business courses. He recently retired as VP of Finance for the YMCA of Greater Dayton, where he was involved in day-to-day financial operations plus arranging financing for major construction projects. Tom holds undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Toledo.
Tom is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s, the AICPA, and FEI (nationally and locally). He also serves on the Board for Holiday Aid, and is a member of the Centerville, Ohio Noon Optimists.
